advocate search] is a newly launched portal cum platform to bring together
customers or users in need of legal & law services, and the advocate
community. The web platform provides one face of the clients and the other
complementary phase of the advocates.
Here’
how it works as shown in the figure below. The clients post or describe their
case and problem in the best possible way by answering a pertinent set of
questionnaire [this is like an initial evaluation of the parameters around the
case] at AdvocateKhoj website. Note that the users need an account by
registration which is free of charge.
After
authentication the case is logged to the database, after which the registered
lawyers go through their legalese and interested lawyers answer regarding the
queries. The clients are informed via an inbox like mechanism about the
interested lawyers willing to take the case. The clients have a good chance of
thoroughly investigating the background about the advocates like
qualifications, experience and case history etc. Till the user makes a decision
regarding selection, they can remain anonymous and do the search via the

The lawyers have a free trial
of 15 days to play around with the site and after that they probably would be
charged. However the client side remains free. The site also provides
comprehensive (as much as possible) information and education about Indian law,
historical antecedents, legal tips, areas of law, Indian Acts and so on. Kindly
