Industrial Disputes (Central) Rules, 1957

27. Decision by majority

All questions arising for decision at any meeting of a Board or Court, save where the court consists of one person, shall be decided by a majority of the vote of the members thereof (including the Chairman) present at the meeting. In the event of an equality of votes the Chairman shall also have a casting vote.
