The Foreign Marriage Rules, 1970
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 28 of the Foreign Marriage Act, 1969 (33 of 1969) and in supersession of the Special Marriage (Diplomatic and Consular Oflicers) Rules, 1955, published with the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of External Aflairs No. S.R.O. 1679, dated 29th Iuly, 1955, the Central Government hereby makes the following rules, namely-
