Companies (Court) Rules, 1959
150. Mode of proof and verification thereof
A debt may be proved by delivering or sending by post to the liquidator, an affidavit verifying the debt made by the creditor or by some person authorized by him. If the affidavit is made by a person authorized by the creditor, it shall state the authority and means of knowledge of the deponent. A creditor need not attend upon the investigation unless required to do so by the Liquidator.
