Cinematograph (Certification) Rules, 1983

FORM VIII: Report of Member of Examining/ Revising Committee Central Board of Film Certification

[Rules 22(9) and 24(9)]

N.B :-Please study the guidelines issued by government once again before you preview of the film.

    I recommend refusal to certificate to the film, OR

Note:- 'U'-Unrestricted public exhibition.

'UA'-Unrestricted public exhibition with an endorsement that it is necessary to caution that the question as to whether any child below the age of twelve years may be allowed to see the film should be considered by the parents or guardian of such child.

'A'-Public exhibition restricted to adults.

'S'-Public exhibition restricted to members of any profession or any class of persons.

Note: 1. While recommending excisions the beginning and end of the excision should be clearly described and the length of the excision may be given as a percentage of the total scene or in meters/ feet.

2. If a scene or sequence is to be reduced to a flash, only 1/2 or 1 meter will be kept in the film.

3. Also if certain portions are to be completely deleted while refusing a scene or sequence these should be specified.]
