Census Rules, 1990¹
(As amended on 19.7.94, 2009 and 2018)

S.O. 967(E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section (1) of section 18 of the Census Act, 1948 (37 of 1948), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules, namely:-

1. Vide G.S.R 967(E), dated 31st December, 1990, published in the gazette of India, Extra., Pt. II , Sec. 3(ii), dated 31st December, 1990.
