Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Rules, 1982

5. All questions to be decided by majority

(1) All questions at a meeting shall be decided by a majority of votes of members present and voting shall be by raising of hands in favor of the proposal.

(2) In case of an equality of votes, the Chairman or presiding officer shall have a second or casting vote.
