4.15. This point is, we have stated1, common to the writ jurisdiction of the Supreme Court and the High Court. In so far as the Supreme Court is concerned, Question 4 in our Questionnaire was as follows:-

"In relation to the grant of ad interim stay by the Supreme Court, in petitions under Article 32, do you favour the same limitations as have been suggested below1 in relation to the High Courts?"
