65. Repeals and savings.-
(1) The following enactments are hereby repealed, namely,-
(a) chapters 6 and 7 of the Indian Penal Code;
(b) the Foreign Recruitment Act, 1874;
(c) the Official Secrets Act, 1923;
(d) section 2 of the Criminal Law Amendment Act, 1961;
(e) the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967.
(2) The British Statute entitled the Foreign Enlistment Act, 1870 (33 & 34 vic., c. 90) in so far as it extends to, and operates as part of the law of, India or any part thereof is hereby repealed.
(3) Transitional provisions.
