31. Treasonable deception.-
Whoever, for any purpose prejudicial to the national security, intentionally transmits to a public servant a false report the content of which is likely to disrupt relations between India and a foreign State or an international institution, shall be punishable with rigorous imprisonment for a term which may extend to seven years, or with fine, or with both.
