4.3. Sections 9-10.-

Section 9 provides for the non-liability of a husband for the debts incurred by the wife before marriage. It corresponds to section 12 of the English Act of 1870. Section 10 deals with the husband's liability in certain miscellaneous cases. This, in brief, is the scheme of the Act.
