Scheme of the Act

4.1. Scheme of the 1874 Act.-

We shall now examine in brief the scheme of the Married Women's Property Act, 1874. Sections 1 to 4.-Sections 1 to 3 deal with preliminary matters. Section 4 deals with the wages and earnings of the wife, and corresponds to section 1 of the Married Women's Property Act, 1870 (English).
