Amendments in other Acts
I. Introductory
15.1. Introductory.-
In this Chapter, we shall discuss briefly the amendments that are required in Acts other than the Act of 1874, in consequence of our recommendations in this Report. The Acts to be considered are:
(i) the Transfer of Property Act, 1882;
(ii) the Indian Trusts Act, 1882;
(iii) the Insurance Act, 1938;
(iv) the Indian Succession Act, 1925.
In the last mentioned Act, we are not recommending any amendment, but we shall briefly consider the question whether any changes are needed.
