Proposals Relating To Sections

8. The sections of the Act deal with certain general principles which are applicable to all suits and proceedings and control the period of limitation under the Articles. In the succeeding paragraphs of this chapter, the sections are examined. We may, at the outset observe that in our view, the Illustrations are unnecessary and sometimes misleading and we accordingly recommend that they should be deleted wherever they occur.
