Before arresting the accused, the first step is to mediate and opt for compromise as far as possible within one month's time. The mediators can include experienced, respectable citizen or even police officers. Make it bailable so that it cannot be misused. Try to compromise the matter between the a aggrieved parties within one month with the help o Police Officer or respectable citizens i.e. NGOs.
