The Employees' Provident Fund Act, 1952

Section 14B-Where an employer makes default in payment of any contribution to the fund or in the payment of any charges, the appropriate Government may recover from the employer such damages, not exceeding 25% of the amount of arrears from the employer as it thinks fit.
