96. Delegation of powers to Official Assignee.-The High Court may direct

that, in any matters in respect of which jurisdiction is given to any1 court by this Act, the Official Assignee shall, subject to the directions of the court, have all or any of the following powers, namely:-

(a) to frame schemes

(b) to make interim orders in any case of urgency; and

(c) to hear and determine any unopposed or ex parte application.

1. For "the court", the words "any court" have been used, to avoid the interpretation that article "the" refers to "High Courts".
