Canon 1079
The only spiritual relationship which invalidates marriage is that mentioned in Canon 768.
Canon 1080
Persons who according to the civil law are regarded as incapable of marrying each other because of a legal relationship arising from adoption, cannot validly contract marriage together according to canon law.
