6.20. Recommendation to amend section 12(1)(c), H.M.A.-

In the light of the above discussion, we recommend that in section 12(1)(c) of the Hindu Marriage Act, in place of the word "fraud", the words "or by fraud as to the nature of the ceremony or as to any material fact or circumstance concerning the respondent", should be substituted.
