5.6. Alternative system.-

If professionalized model of justice delivery thus cannot be extended to meet the legal needs of the Indian masses, it becomes incumbent to consider alternatives. The alternative is deprofessionalized model of justice. In this model, the indigenous juristic potential of the people, including their own sense of justice, is allowed room for development. This has been sought to be done through people's participation in the administration of justice.
