3.8. Recommendation.-

We accordingly recommend a re-draft of the definition to indicate the meaning accurately, on the following lines:-

Revised section 3(3)

(3) "affidavit" shall mean a statement in writing purporting to be a statement of facts, signed by the person making it and confirmed by him by oath."
