An Act to provide for the levy of wealth-tax.

BE it enacted by Parliament in the Eighth Year of the Republic of India as follows:

This Act has been extended with modifications to Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Goa, Daman and Diu, and Pondicherry by Regulation 3 of 1963, s. 3(1) and Schedule (w.e.f. 1-4-1963).
