Standards of Weights and Measures (Enforcement) Act, 1985

43. Penalty for contravention of section 20.-

A licensee who after the suspension or cancellation of the licence issued to him or renewed or continued under this Act, omits or fails to stop functioning as a licensee under this Act, shall be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to one year.
