56. Penalty for infringement of layout-design.
Any person who contravenes knowingly and wilfully any of the provisions of section 18 shall be punishable with imprisonment for a term which may extend to three years, or with fine which shall not be less than fifty-thousand rupees but which may extend to ten lakhs rupees, or with both.
