15. Supply of fresh ballot paper in certain circumstances.-

(1) An elector who has inadvertently dealt with his ballot paper in such a manner that it cannot be conveniently used as a ballot paper may, on delivering it to the presiding officer and on satisfying him of the inadvertence, obtain another ballot paper in place of the ballot paper so delivered, and the latter shall, together with its counterfoil, be marked as cancelled by the presiding officer.

(2) Any ballot papers so cancelled shall be kept in a separate envelope set apart for the purpose.
