16. Certain offences to be cognizable.-

Notwithstanding anything contained in the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (2 of 1974), an offence falling under sub-sections (2), (3) and (4) of section 15 shall be deemed to be cognizable and non-bailable within the meaning of that Code.
