56. Power of President to remove difficulties.-

If any difficulty arises in relation to the transition from the provisions of any of the laws repealed by this Act or in giving effect to the provisions of this Act and, in particular, in relation to the constitution of the Legislative Assembly for 3[the Union territory], the President may by order do anything not inconsistent with the provisions of this Act which appear to him to be necessary or expedient for the purpose of removing the difficulty.
