Co-Operative Societies Act 2008

33. Voting rights

1.      A society that is a member of another society shall exercise its voting rights in that other society through one of its members duly appointed in that behalf.

2.      Delegates elected in accordance with the by- a society may, unless otherwise provided in the by-laws, exercise at annual and special meetings of the society all the powers of members, and in such cases all references in this Act to the exercise of powers by members shall be deemed to include the exercise of powers by delegates.
