4. Appointment and powers of supervisory officers.

9[(1) The Central Government may appoint a a person to be the Director-General of the Force and such other supervisory officers as considered necessary.]

(2) The 10[Director-General] and every other supervisory officer so appointed shall have, and may exercise, such powers and authority as is provided by or under this Act.
