19.Resignation:-

(1) Any nominated or elected member of a Board who wishes to resign his office may forward his resignation in writing through the President of the Board to the Officer Commanding-in-Chief, the Command who shall forward it for orders to the {Subs.by the A.O.1937 for " L.G."} [Central Government].

(2) If the {Subs.by the A.O.1937 for " L.G."} [Central Government] accepts the resignation, such acceptance shall be communicated to the Board, and thereupon the seat of the member resigning shall become vacant.
