Saraswati Vidya Mandir Law College (SVMLC) Shikarpur, Distt. Bulandshahr has the unique distinction of being the first law college of self finance in area of 100km. radius to start a LL.B.-3 year programme.
This law college is established on Meerut-Badaun National Highway at the distance of 21 k.m from Bulandshahr and 40 k.m from Narora bandh project. The SVM Law College was established under the Regd. society "Satyanand Shiksha Samiti".
Sh. Jai Prakash Gupta, the founder secretary/Manager of this Law College is a big gun in the field of advocacy & social service and a man of extraordinary vision.
His vision has been translated in to practical reality through the establishment of various educational institutions i.e. Shyamlal Saraswati (P.G.) College, Surajbhan Saraswati Vidya Mandir Inter College, Saraswati Vidya Mandir Kanya Inter College.
His vision for this Law College is to provide excellence in legal education and to produce quality lawyers with good moral principles and great human values.
The permanent affiliation has been granted by the Chaudhary Charan Singh University,Meerut for running a LL.B.-3 year programme and the recognition has been also granted by the Bar Council of India.
The programme seeks to promote multi disciplinary analysis of the social legal problems by designing to course structure and teaching methods to realize these objectives.In addition, the Law College organizes seminars on contemporary legal issue and trains students in legal research and legal writing.
By the time a student completes the LL.B.-3 year programme he/she will be fully equipped with the theoretical knowledge and practical experience in the field of Law to become a full-fledged responsible legal professionals.
