College Information:
Established in 1917, D.A.V. Society entered into the arena of higher education starting with the graduate classes in 1950 and postgraduate classes in 1958. Soon it was recognized both by the public and the government as a leading institution of the state. Its founder principal Prof. Department of Law was established in 1952 and cover an area of 27.0 sq.m.(Staff Room).
The Department offers programs like LL.B and Ph.D. Numbers of Students pursuing LL.B is Eight Hundred Thirty Five and in Ph.D number of students is Ten. There are Ten Faculty members including One part time Faculty, Three Faculty having Ph.D Degree in the department. Library and Research Lab in the department provides additional features to its Infrastructure.
The Faculty members provide excellent teaching and assessment. on the basis of syllabus decided by University. HOD deserves a mention for efficient utilisation of grants provided by Principal on the basis of norms and requirements of departments.
