Mahavir Law College came into existence in 2003. Mahavir In! Vidya Niketan Samiti, a registered M society, considering the long left need of people of Jaipur and adjoining district, established mahavir Law College at the district headquarter of Jaipur, covering 50 Km. radius area. Presence of Law College is prove vital for creating awareness and respect for Law its institution among the rustic and simple people of the area which is in the midst of one of the world most stable democracies.
Mahavir Law College is committed to impart the Knowledge of Law as prescribed by the bar Council and the University of Rajasthan, to which the College is affiliated. this college is Approved by bar Council of India New Delhi for next 3 academic & session wide latter No. BCI: D: 990: 2004 (LE. Mtg) Dated 7th June 2004. the College started its first academic session in 2003-04, All subject are covered in 27 Period a week including periods for tutorials. Tutorials are held for small groups of Students 15-20 each, one a week for each group, to enable the students to have closer contact with the teacher, to help them remove the difficulties might be felt by them in different subject to study. Students are taken to District & Session court and high Court for "Court visits" under the supervision of teachers in order to facilitate their understanding of court procedure. As part of their practical training programme, student are also prepared for moot-court sessions. Besides these pedagogic and court exercise, the students are required to appear at two home examination ( 1st and 2Nd term) before they sit finally for the annual university examination.
Mahavir Law college maintains a law library. it is equipped with text books, law reports periodicals and reading material. the library remains open for about 8 hours a day on all working days. Mahavir law college is dedicated to function as an institution of excellence in law teaching.
