The Faculty is engaged in teaching the courses prescribed by the Bar Council of India for LL.B. Classes, for PG classes four specialized branches of law viz., Mercantile law, Constitutional law, Family law and Trots and Crime Law are available to the students.Almost all the teachers of the Department are engaged in research activities by undertaking minor/major research projects as under:
(a) 2 Major research projects first on Law on Agrarian Reform and Problems of Agricultural Labour in the State of Rajasthan and Haryana sanctioned to Dr. Y.K. Tiwari, former Head & Dean of the Faculty of Law and second on Human Rights of Mentally ill Patients A Study of standards of Care and Treatment in Government and Private Hospitals in Rajasthan sanctioned to Dr. M.K. Vyas, Head & Dean of the Faculty of Law. Both the Major research projects have been sanctioned by the UGC.
(b) 10 Minor research projects have been completed by the teachers of Law on various important problems relating to law.
(c) Researches on important topics like Population Studies, Intellectual Properties, Cyber Law, Status and Protection of Women in Hindu Undivided Family, Legal Aid, Human Rights etc. have been taken by the Research Scholars and Ph.D. have been awarded to them.
