The Latthe Education Society, the parent body of the N. S. Law College, Sangli is established in 1951 in the name of Late Diwan Bahadur Annasaheb Latthe, the first Finance Minister of the then Bombay State. This College is established in 1969 with an object to provide facilities for the study of Law to the students of the Sangli District. The college is Government aided andpermanent affiliation is granted by Shivaji University, Kolhapur and Bar Council of India. The college is housed in the Rajnemi Campus near Sangli Madhavnagar Bus Route. During last 33 years the College is imparting legal education on a scientific basis and has achieved the distinction of being an institution of repute in the field of legal education.
