The Institute of Law at Jiwaji University was established in August 1999 on the recommendation of the Bar Council of India, New Delhi and has started a Five Year integrated L.L.B. (Hons.) degree programme to prepare students for the Bar and other careers in Law.
We are sure that the Institute shall prove to be an Institution with a difference, and our students will make in all stations of life.Goal of the institute is to produce of readymade Lawyers and Judges equipped with proficiency and integrity.
To become a Judge we shall teach the students how to prepare oneself before the hearing of a case, how to control the proceedings in the court and the art of refusing adjournments, so that the justice may be speedy. They will learn how to have mastery over facts.
Wisdom in the application of Law, analytical weighing the arguments of both sides and how to reach the goal as the relief to be given to each party and lastly how to prepare a judgement and above all our students will not only demonstrate but practice here in the Institute whatever they learn.
