The Bishop Cotton Women’s Christian Law College is the only college in India, which offers 5 Year Integrated Law Course, exclusively for women imparting legal education.
The college is managed by the Board of Management of Karnataka Central Diocese, Church of South India. Rt. Rev. S. Vasant Kumar, the Bishop in Karnataka Central Diocese is the Chairman of the Board. Mrs. A. P. Porkodi is the first and current Principal.
To instill the values of the cause of women more in the minds of young girls and to empower them, this exclusive institution for legal education was inaugurated on 14th July 2002. The first batch of students has stepped out with flying colours in May 2007.
