Bangalore Institute of Legal Studies has been striving towards improving standards of Legal Education in the country. In the process, the college continues to conduct Moot Court Competitions at the national level, organize legal aid programmes for the common man, legal awareness camps and client counseling.
The college also arranges for visits to Lok Adalats, the Hon’ble High Court, the Hon’ble Supreme Court and the Parliament. As an amalgamation of students from every nook and corner of our country, the institution continues to produce lawyers of the highest standards.
This fact has been acknowledged by several research organizations including India Today (need we say more) which has ranked the college as the seventh best among the top ten law colleges in India. The college has been ranked the seventh best Law College for three years in a row by India Today for the years 2003, 2004 and 2005 respectively.
