In order to meet the challenges of globalization and liberalization and to develop an institution of excellence in Legal Education, Kurukshetra University established the Institute of Law in the Year 2001 on its campus to run 5-Year Integrated Law Course.

The object of the Institute is to disseminate legal knowledge that meets the demands of the fast changing Economic, Political and Social Institutions.The Institute provides the students with a variety of academic and support resources to enhance their knowledge and experience.

The Institute has its own Library well-stocked with books on Law and other allied subjects with a spacious Reading Hall. The Institute subscribes all the leading Law Reports and Journals of National and International repute.
