      Amity Law School (ALS) has been ranked as one of the Top10 law schools in the country in a recent survey conducted by India TodayAC NIELSEN ORGMARG.The college is affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University.Amity Law School has the unique distinction of being the first Law School in Delhi to start a 5year integrated LL.B (H) programme.

The School was established under the Ritnand Balved Education Foundation (RBEF) to achieve worldclass legal education in the country. Dr. Ashok K. Chauhan, the Founder President of the Law School is a great philanthropist and a man of extraordinary vision. This vision of his has been translated into practical reality through the establishment of various educational institutions he has set up including the Amity Law School.

His vision for the Law School is to provide excellence in legal education and to produce quality lawyers with good moral principles and great human values. The School has been granted affiliation by the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi for running a 5year Integrated LL.B(H) programme and the affiliation has been approved by the Bar Council of India.

The programme seeks to promote multidisciplinary analysis of the sociolegal problems by designing its coursestructure and teaching methods to realize these objectives. The methods of teaching in the Law School include lecture discussions, case law analysis, moot court training, project assignment and placement programmes.

In addition, the School organizes seminars on contemporary legal issues, conducts clinical courses and trains students in legal research and legal writing. By the time a student completes the 5year programme he/she will be fully equipped with the required theoretical knowledge and practical experience in the field of law to become a fullfledged responsible member of the legal profession.

Course Eligibility: The admission to the LL.B(H) programme of Amity Law School is done through a common Entrance Test conducted by the GGS IP University to which Amity Law School is affiliated.
A candidate desirous of admission to the LL.B(Hons.) programme should have passed, with at least 50% marks in aggregate with English as a compulsory subject in Senior School Certificate Examination (Class XII) of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBEF), Delhi or an examination recognized as equivalent to the Senior School Certificates Examination of the CBSE and the candidate should be below 21 years of age on 1st August.

90% of the seats under various courses of the affiliated institutions including Amity Law School shall be filled up through a Common Entrance Test conducted by the University followed by counseling upon two rounds as per the present practice. State Government Policy on reservations will apply in these admissions. 10% of the seats (8 seats) are to be filled in by the Management from the merit list only.
