KMCT Law college, Kuttippuram is a self-financing law college established in the year 2013 and has set a bench mark for quality legal education in the State of Kerala. The objective of the institution focused on imparting legal education to all sects of the society. The institution was built on strong foundation and has maintained its reputation as a fine institution for legal education over a period of time.

The Kunhitharuvai Memorial Charitable Trust Group of Institutions or KMCT was established in 1994 by Dr. K. Moidu a leading medical practitioner and a visionary educationist with an objective of promoting high standards and excellence in the field of technical and professional education and to provide information and training in a systematic manner to the student community, expanded in to a conglomeration of around eighteen educational institutions under the brand name "KMCT Group of Institutions". The KMCT Group of Institutions is one of the largest groups of educational institutions in Kerala.

The courses offered in KMCT Law College are Integrated 5 year B.B.A.LL.B, B.Com.LL.B and 3 year L.L.B programmes. B.B.A.LL.B and B.Com.LL.B programmes require a study for ten semesters in a period of five academic years. LL.B programme requires a study for Six semesters in a period of three academic years. The College has been granted affiliation by the University of Calicut for running 5-year Integrated LL.B(H) programme and 3-year LL.B programme and the affiliation has been approved by the Bar Council of India.

The programme seeks to promote multi-disciplinary analysis of the socio-legal problems by designing its course-structure to realize these objectives. The methods of teaching in our college include lecture discussions, case law analysis, moot court training and project assignment. By the time a student completes the 5-year programme he/she will be fully equipped with the required theoretical knowledge and practical experience in the field of law to become a full-fledged responsible member of the legal profession.

1. BBA LLB

BBA LL. B programme offered by KMCT Law college is a five-years course on completion of which the aspirants are offered a professional degree.

This is a integrated dual degree programme involving a regular study of 10 Semesters with five-year duration wherein aspirants are taught subjects related to Business Administration as well as Law. The programme comprising of detailed study of principles, practices and theory of law and management through lectures, case study and classroom deliberations including seminars and presentations. The course also includes clinical legal education comprising of moot court, legal aid and ADR, client counselling practices, court visits, chamber visits and internships.

2. BCom LLB

B. Com LL. B programme offered by KMCT Law college is a five-years course on completion of which the aspirants are offered a professional degree. This is a integrated dual degree programme involving a regular study of 10 Semesters with five-year duration wherein aspirants are taught both commerce and law subjects. The programme comprising of detailed study of principles, practices and theory of law and commerce through lectures, case study and classroom deliberations including seminars and presentations. The course also includes clinical legal education comprising of moot court, legal aid and ADR, client counselling practices, court visits, chamber visits and internships.

3. LLB

LLB programme offered by KMCT Law college is a three- years course on completion of which the aspirants are offered a professional degree. This course shall extend to the period of 3 academic years consisting of 6 semesters.

The programme comprising of detailed study of theory of law through lectures, case study and classroom deliberations including seminars and presentations. The course also includes clinical legal education comprising of moot court, legal aid and ADR, client counselling practices, court visits, chamber visits and internships.
