AP LAWCET and AP PGLCET - 2018

APLAWCET - 2018 and APPGLCET - 2018 are the Andhra Pradesh Common Law Entrance Tests for admission to 3 / 5 year LL.B courses and LL.M courses in the Universities at Andhra Pradesh and their affiliated colleges. These tests are being conducted by Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Anantapuramu on behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education, Hyderabad.

Law Common Entrance Test - 2018 (LAWCET - 2018) is for entry in to those seats of 1st year of five year / three year LL.B. degree courses.

LAWCET - 2018:

  • B.A. LL.B. - 5 year Programme
  • B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) - 5 year Programme
  • B.B.A. LL.B. - 5 year Programme
  • B.Com LL.B. - 5 year Programme
  • LL.B. - 3 year Programme
  • LL.B. (Hons.) - 3 year Programme

PGLCET - 2018:

  • LL.M. - Post Graduation Programme

Eligibility:

LL.B. - 3 year Programme:

  • The candidates for 3 year LL.B. should have passed any Graduate Degree (10+2+3 pattern) of a recognized University with 45% of aggregate marks or any other examination recognized as equivalent by the Universities concerned
  • There is a relaxation of 5% of marks in the above qualifying examinations for 3 year / 5 year Law course in favour of the candidates belonging to SC./.ST.
  • If any candidate secured less than 45% in graduation, he should have passed any additional graduation or post graduation with 45% marks

B.A. LL.B. / B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) / B.A. LL.B. / B.Com LL.B. - 5 year Programme:

  • The Candidates for 5 year LLB should have passed two year Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) with 45% of aggregate marks or any other examination recognized as equivalent by the University concerned or the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh
  • There is a relaxation of 5% of marks in the above qualifying examinations for 3 year / 5 year Law course in favour of the candidates belonging to SC / ST.

Age: The maximum age limit for a candidate seeking admission into the 3 year and 5 year LL.B. course shall be 30 years (relaxable by 5 years in case of SC / ST) and 20 years (relaxable by 2 years in case of SC / ST) respectively as on 31st Dec, 2018.

LL.M. - Post Graduation Course:

  • Candidates holding LL.B. / B.L. degree on the date of application and candidates who have appeared / appearing for LL.B. / B.L. final year examination are also eligible.
  • A candidate appearing for LL.B. / B.L. degree examinations may take the APPGLCET in anticipation of results; however he should pass at the time of counseling.

Registration Fee:

  • 3 year / 5 year LL.B. Courses (APLAWCET): Rs. 750/-
  • Post graduate LL.M Course (APPGLCET): Rs. 850/-

The fee payment can be made through two modes. The first mode is to pay through Debit Card, Credit Card or Net Banking or through the designated Andhra Pradesh online centers.

Commencement of Submission of Online application forms:

9th March, 2018

Last date for submission of online applications without late fee:

5th April, 2018

Last date for submission of online applications with late fee of Rs. 500/- :

10th April, 2018

Correction of online application data already submitted by the candidate":

8th & 9th April, 2018

Downloading of Hall-tickets from the website www.sche.ap.gov.in/lawcet

12th April, 2018

Date of AP LAWCET & PGLCET - 2018 Examination:

19th April, 2018

Time of Examination:

02:30 PM to 04:00 PM

Declaration of Preliminary Key:

22nd April, 2018

Last Date for receiving of objections on Preliminary Key:

23rd April, 2018

Declaration of Results:

25th April, 2018
