School of Law, Galgotias University, Greater Noida is going to organize the 2nd International Conference on Contemporary Legal Issues, 2018.

Call for Papers:
The Conference invites research papers from academicians, industry experts, students of law or those related to the field. The papers must be accompanied by an Abstract (of not more than 250 words) and must apply research skills such as a specific research methodology, research questions, hypothesis and objectives of the research.

The aim of the Conference is to promote the exchange of knowledge and views of educationists, jurists, practicing professionals, social activists, and individuals in their areas of interest, relating to social justice and social change. It will provide a platform for sharing knowledge, practices, and perspectives from distinct academic communities, professionals, and vocationalists.

Galgotias University's, School of Law extends a warm invitation to participants to present papers on any one of the following sub-themes:

Guidelines for Abstract Submission:

  • Abstracts should be submitted via the following link (Gmail account required).
  • There is a limit of one contributed submission per registered Author and only one Co-author per paper will be permitted.
  • Please name your attachment as follows: <family name><personal name>_abstract e.g. if author's name is Ramesh Bhati then the file name should be bhatiramesh_abstract.
  • Accompany your Abstract with a brief profile of not more than 50 words.
  • All Abstracts must be submitted and presented in English.
  • Abstracts should be based on any of the suggested themes for the Conference.
  • Notification of acceptance of the Abstracts submitted will be sent to you via e-mail as per the schedule.
  • By submitting an Abstract you grant the organizers permission to publish the Abstract in hard copy and electronic formats for distribution during Conference.
  • The conference conveners reserve the right to accept and reject Abstracts for inclusion in the program.
  • The invitation to submit an Abstract or the acceptance of an Abstract does not constitute an offer to pay travel, accommodation or registration fee costs.
  • Presenters must be registered conference participants before their papers can be scheduled into the program.

  • Times New Roman font, size 12 pt, Maximum 250 words.
  • Do not include references.
  • Keywords - include only three

Guidelines for Final Submission:

  • The final paper should be submitted after the intimation of acceptance of Abstract.
  • The confirmation mail shall contain the link for the final submission, which shall be concluded within the prescribed deadline. (Gmail account required).
  • Information one submitted will be frozen and no change of any kind (e.g. Author/Co-author Name, Title etc.) will be allowed.
  • Submission should include a separate title page which clearly indicates the name(s) of the Author(s), affiliation(s), mailing address(es), telephone number(s).
  • The word limit of the final paper should be upto 5000 words, inclusive of footnotes.
  • EMail address(es), the title of the paper and up to three keywords that describe the paper.
  • The paper should be typed in Times New Roman, font size 12 pt with 1.5 spacing and Title in font size 14 pt.
  • The citation style must conform to 'The Bluebook: A Uniform System of Citation, 19th Edition.' As a starting point, Authors can refer the abridged version of Bluebook (19th Edition) Citation Format Guidelines.
  • The text of the full paper must include the following details as front page:

Participation Fees:

  • Students (under graduate / post graduate): Rs. 1500/- per participant
  • Academicians, Professionals & Research Scholars: Rs. 2000/- per participant
  • International participants: US $50 per participant

Demand Draft should be drawn in favour of 'Galgotias University Uttar Pradesh' payable at Noida. Please ensure that the details of Demand Draft be mentioned in the Online Registration Form while making the final submission. Your Demand Draft should reach us before 8th March, 2018 (for publication) at the address given below.
