National Law University Jodhpur is going to conduct a Certificate Course on Energy Law
Course Dates: 7th - 17th February, 2018
Energy is the fundamental necessity of human society and, indeed, of life itself. The energy resources is the rich parts of the world and have shown invaluable economic development in the past and they are still the richest economies of the world. The rapid development in the production and use of energy radically transforms the productive possibilities of mankind and concerns the social effects and functions of energy.
Therefore, the present course examines the presence and functions of energy in the human society in the contemporary social and economic system and the legal framework devised for dealing with it. The rules, procedures, institutions, practices and arrangements governing production, exchange and use of energy materials, its carriage, production and transmission constitute the international legal framework for energy and our goal is to provide a basic foundation in the mechanics of international energy law.
