GNLU - Post Graduate Diploma in Legislative Drafting

This one-year online postgraduate diploma launched by Gujarat National Law University (GNLU) focuses on a vital aspect of drafting. Drafting of Legislative documents is a process by which the government of the day (be it state or central) converts its policies into legislations. Drafting of legislative documents is an important step in the life cycle of legislation. The quality and accuracy of legislation is only derived from the way it is drafted.

Aim:

  • To provide excellent writing skills for drafting top quality legislative documents

Duration:
The duration of the Diploma Course is one year

Methodology:
Online and offline Mode: Contact classes - 2 days physical sessions on campus. The physical sessions would take place at the end of the programme and during a weekend. Students will be provided with a few options to choose from

Eligibility:
Any individual, who has completed an undergraduate degree or has a work experience of 10 years or more, is eligible to join this diploma programme.

Course Fees:

  • Rs. 19,500/- inclusive of accommodation and food (for the two day campus visit)

The registrations are on a first-cum-first-served basis. Seats are limited.

Note: Candidates applying for the course are instructed to verify eligibility criteria before registering for the course. Admission of ineligible candidates shall be cancelled and Rs. 200/- shall be deducted from the fees paid before processing refund.
