4th Justice Murtaza Husain Memorial Moot Court Competition 2017
Unity Law and Degree College, Lucknow is going to organize the 4th Justice Murtaza Husain Memorial Moot Court Competition, 2017. The moot proposition for the moot court competition is based on Constitutional Law.
Date: 6th - 8th October, 2017
Venue: Unity Law & Degree College, Sector B, Basant Kunj, IIM Road, Lucknow
Eligibility:
- The Competition shall be open for bonafide students who are pursuing an integrated 5 year B.A. LL.B. programme or 3 year LL.B programme in India. The institution participating in the competition must be recognized by the Bar Council of India.
- There is no restriction on the number of teams participating from the same institution i.e. more than one team can participate.
Team Composition:
- Each team shall consist of a minimum of two members or maximum of three members.
- There shall be no circumstance whatsoever that a team consisting of more than 3 members be allowed to participate. No observer / additional member can be part of the team in any capacity.
- In case of a three-member team, there shall be two speakers and one researcher in the team.
- In case of a two member team, there shall be two speakers only who shall not be eligible for the researchers test.
- The teams shall identify such speakers and researcher during registration.
- Teams shall not disclose their identity whatsoever, i.e. the name of their institution, city or any other information which has the effect of disclosing their identity and affiliation with a particular University or Institution, except in the registration form. Such disclosure shall result in disqualification subject to the discretion of the organizer. Each team shall be allotted a team code.
Registration:
- All participating institutions have to confirm participation by sending an email to unitymoot2017@gmail.com by 5th September, 2017 latest by 11:59 pm
- Teams shall send the hard copies of the filled registration form along with registration fee of Rs. 1500/- by 10th September, 2017 at the following address:

- Formal registration of the teams shall be done on 6th October, 2017 at the venue at 10:00 am.
- Any change in the team composition shall be intimated to the organizer before the formal registration.
- No forms received after the deadline shall be considered for registration.
Registration:
The registration fees can be made through a Demand Draft, drawn in favor of "Unity Degree College" payable at Lucknow.
Hospitality:
Lunch will be provided from 6th to 8th October 2017 only. Accommodation will not be provided to any of the participating teams.
