AP LAWCET and AP PGLCET - 2017
APLAWCET - 2017 and APPGLCET - 2017 are the Andhra Pradesh Common Law Entrance Tests for admission to 3 / 5 year LL.B courses and LL.M courses in the Universities at Andhra Pradesh and their affiliated colleges. These tests are being conducted by Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Anantapuramu on behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education, Hyderabad.
Law Common Entrance Test - 2017 (LAWCET - 2017) is for entry in to those seats of 1st year of five year / three year LL.B. degree courses.
LAWCET - 2017:
- B.A LLB - 5 year Programme
- BA LLB (Hons.) - 5 year Programme
- BBA LLB - 5 year Programme
- B.Com LLB - 5 year Programme
- LLB - 3 year Programme
- LLB (Hons.) - 3 year Programme
PGLCET - 2017:
- LLM - Post Graduation Programme
Eligibility:
LLB - 3 year Programme:
- The candidates for 3 year LLB should have passed any Graduate Degree (10+2+3 pattern) of a recognized University with 45% of aggregate marks or any other examination recognized as equivalent by the Universities concerned
- There is a relaxation of 5% of marks in the above qualifying examinations for 3 year / 5 year Law course in favour of the candidates belonging to SC/ST.
- If any candidate secured less than 45% in graduation he should have passed any additional graduation or post graduation with 45%
B.A LLB / BA LLB (Hons.) / BBA LLB / B.Com LLB - 5 year Programme:
- The Candidates for 5 year LLB should have passed two year Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) with 45% of aggregate marks or any other examination recognized as equivalent by the University concerned or the Board of Intermediate Education, AP
- There is a relaxation of 5% of marks in the above qualifying examinations for 3 year / 5 year Law course in favour of the candidates belonging to SC/ST.
Age: The maximum age limit for a candidate seeking admission into the 3 year and 5 year LL.B course shall be 30 years (relaxable by 5 years in case of SC/ST) and 20 years (relaxable by 2 years in case of SC/ST) respectively as on 31st Dec, 2017.
LLM - Post Graduation Course:
- Candidates holding LL.B / B.L. degree on the date of application and candidates who have appeared / appearing for LL.B / BL final year examination are also eligible.
- A candidate appearing for LLB / BL degree examinations may take the APPGLCET in anticipation of results; however he should pass at the time of counseling.
Application Fee:
The application fee for AP LAWCET examination is Rs. 450/-. The fee payment can be made through two modes. The first mode is to pay through Debit Card, Credit Card or Net Banking or through the designated AP online centers.
