Indian Journal of Arbitration Law (Vol. 4, Issue 2): Call for Papers

The Indian Journal of Arbitration Law is a biannual, student reviewed e-journal launched by the Centre for Advanced Research and Training in Arbitration Law at National Law University, Jodhpur. The Indian Journal of Arbitration Law is pleased to announce its upcoming issue (Vol. 4, Issue 2), which is to be published in January, next year. As this issue will have no theme, submissions can be on any contemporary issue.

About the Journal:
The Journal strives to inculcate the prevalent theories in the field of arbitration with their practical relevance. The editorial board seeks to achieve this feat by including contributions from individuals with varied expertise of practicing arbitration and by focusing on developing trends.

In this regard, the board would give due emphasis to the rich thought processes of students of law, who bring to the forefront the innovative academic research currently underway in most law schools all over the world. Inclusion of changing regional trends will play a vital part in understanding the scope and extant of this discipline and would therefore find due importance in the Journal.

The Board of Editors cordially invites original, unpublished submissions for publication in the following categories:

  • Articles: which deal with issues of interest and relevance and must demonstrate a high-level of analysis. Articles of a purely descriptive nature, unless about a development in a country or a region which may necessarily be of a descriptive nature, are not preferred. The word length of such Articles should fall within the range of 8,000-10,000 words.

  • Notes: which cover a recent development or are issue-specific. The word limit of such Notes will be 8,000 words.

  • Comments: which entail a critical analysis of an issue of relevance, including case laws and policy developments. The Word limit of such comments will be 8,000 words.

  • Book Reviews(only solicited by the Editors): The editors however welcome any suggestions from academicians, scholars or publishers for Book Reviews.
