Ambedkar Law University Journal (Vol. IX): Call for Papers

The Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University Journal entitled "Ambedkar Law University Journal" is inviting paper for the Volume IX. The first volume was released in 2010. It is the expectation of legal fraternity that a scholarly journal in law under the auspices of the Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University will make considerable contribution to the field of law, and legal scholarship.

For stimulating high standard research, public discourse on vital legal issues and for promotion of academic excellence as well as legal reform, the need for a law journal need not be overemphasized.

It is a privilege to have a contribution of well researched article on any matter of public importance from your good self to the journal. The research articles in the field of law along with a soft copy to be submitted to TNDALU by May in the first half yearly and by November in the next half yearly every year.

Submission Guidelines:
Authors may kindly note the following guidelines in submitting the papers for publication:

  • Articles should be analytical, and products of original research or study. The maximum length of long articles and shorter comments or notes shall be 6000 and 2000 words respectively.
  • Authors should send one printout of manuscript typed in double space with at least 1 inch margin on both sides along with a soft copy in MS- Word.
  • Details about the author (name, designation, affiliations) are to be sent along with the submission.
  • There shall be declaration from the authors to the effect, while submitting the article for consideration by the editorial board that the contribution is the product of research & does not form part of any article published earlier.
Submission shall conform to the citation system indicated below.
  • Books:

  • Chapter from Edited Book:

  • Article from Journal:
    E. J. Jathin, "Human Genome Project: Emerging Challenges of Right to Privacy vis-a-vis Insurer's Right to know", CULR (2007) p. 1 (or as specified by the Journal)

  • Cases:
    Nandini satpathyv. P.L. Dhani, AIR 1978 SC 1025 or (1991) 4 SCC 406.

One copy of the submission should be sent along with the soft copy in M.S. Word form to the following address
