Chanakya National Law University, Admission 2010

B.A., LL.B (Hons.) Five Year Degree Programme
Chankya National Law University admits candidates for its BA LLB program on the basis of their CLAT scores. Foreign Nationals and NRI category candidates are exempted from taking the Common Law Admission Test and the rule concerning the age limit. Candidates who wish to apply under Foreign Nationals Category and NRI category shall submit the duly filled in application form which can be downloaded here. Last date for the receipt of application with is Wednesday, 2nd June 2010.

Eligibility Criteria:
A candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with at least 50% aggregate marks (45% for reserved categories). Those who are appearing for class 12th exams in 2010 can also apply. Also a candidate should be under 20 years (22 years for reserved categories) before 1st July, 2010.

Candidates can get the form of CLAT through designated branches of Indian Bank, State bank of India and all National Law Schools. Candidates can also download the form through the website www.clat.ac.in

LL.M Two Year Full Time Degree Programme:
Admission to the LL.M.. Programme is made strictly on the basis of merit as assessed through a Common Law Admission Test (CLAT). Foreign Nationals and NRI category candidates are exempted from taking the Common Law Admission Test and the rule concerning the age limit. Candidates who wish to apply under Foreign Nationals Category and NRI category shall submit the duly filled in application form which can be downloaded here. Last date for the receipt of application with enclosures is Wednesday, 2nd June 2010.

Eligibility Criteria:
A candidate should have passed the B.A., LL.B degree or an equivalent degree from recognized University, there to securing in the aggregate not less than 55% of the total marks (50% in case of candidates belonging to reserved categories).
